TRAFFIC ALERT: I-40 reopened at Campbell Station

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- All lanes of Interstate 40 eastbound in West Knox County now back open after a 90-minute cleanup of an accident scene.

The accident happened on I-40 between Watt Road and Campbell Station Road, around 2:30 p.m. The road reopened just before 4:00 p.m.

Tennessee Department of Transportation cameras in the area show an extensive backup.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol dispatcher says a camper being towed behind a truck rolled over blocking all lanes.

No word on any injuries.

Volunteer TV Eye in the Sky Pete Michaels is above the scene, but reports a snow shower in the area is restricting his view.
