Authorities find boaters' bodies a week after accident on Tennessee River

NEW JOHNSONVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Emergency officials have found the bodies of two missing boaters nearly a week after their boat capsized on the Tennessee River.

The bodies of Brian Hamilton and Chris James were discovered around noon on Sunday not far from where their boat capsized on March 22.

Six people were rescued from the boating accident, but one of them later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The boat capsized near New Johnsonville, about 86 miles west of Nashville.
