ROGERSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police say three people have died in a single-car accident in Hawkins County west of Rogersville.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Sgt. Christie Osborne says 41-year-old Ralph Dodson was traveling on Highway 11-W early Saturday morning when the vehicle veered off and struck a culvert.
Dodson and two passengers -- Ronnie White, 38, and Candy Riddle, 27 -- were all ejected from the vehicle.
Osborne said alcohol containers were found in the wreckage and alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash.
All three victims were deceased when rescuers arrived on the scene shortly after the wreckage was discovered around 8 a.m. Saturday by a nearby store proprietor.
