NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Gov. Phil Bredesen will be visiting sites in rural parts of West and East Tennessee to promote the state's new campaign to attract investment.
The Monday visits will kick off the "Orange Carpet Tour" that organizes local officials in presenting pitches to site selection consultants to consider their communities for new industry.
The governor is scheduled to visit Covington, Decherd and Rockwood. Officials from the surrounding counties will attend to sign agreements for their participation in the program.
