Drug sweep underway in Bell Co., Kentucky

MIDDLESBORO, Ky (WVLT) -- A drug sweep is underway in Middlesboro, Kentucky, as cops serve warrants trying to arrest drug dealers and pushers.

The investigation began at the beginning of the year, according to a Middlesboro Police Department release.

As of today, eleven people have been arrested on fifteen warrants. Five more people remain to be served.

One highlight of the drug sweep, is an arrest of a man identified by police as Terron Wilson. He was arrested in Lexington, Kentucky, and charged with trafficking cocaine in Middlesboro.
