Fountain City apartment building catches fire

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- It didn't take long for firefighters to put out the flames at a Fountain City apartment complex this afternoon.

Knoxville Fire Captain Brent Seymour tells VolunteerTV the fire damaged a numbe of apartments in a 12-unit apartment building at the corner of Jenkins Rd. and Highland in Fountain City.

He says two people were evaluated for smoke inhalation, a disabled resident had to be helped from one of the apartments.
