Suspected Kentucky bank robber nabbed by Tennessee troopers

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A man wanted for armed robbery in Kentucky has been arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol in Campbell County.

Christopher Kimmich, 48, allegedly robbed a Florence, Ky. bank on April 8.

Troopers learned that he could be in the Campbell County area, and a THP Lieutenant noticed a pickup matching the description of Kimmich's vehicle heading north on I-75 near exit 132. The trooper stopped Kimmich, and took him into custody without incident.

There was a .22-caliber pistol and money inside the truck.
