NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Attorney General has stepped in to stop a Sullivan County dog kennel owner from selling English Bulldog puppies.
Gina Price has been sued for contempt in violation of a 2006 court order to stop operating her kennel and selling and advertising her dogs.
The original complaint filed against Price and three other defendants said the dogs were unhealthy and some died or had to be euthanized shortly after purchase. They operated under the names Rebel Ridge Kennels, CSA Bulldogs and Confederate Sands.
A hearing on the contempt order will be held April 18.
