KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The man driving a box truck that overturned on I-275 North near the Woodland Avenue exit late Friday morning was behind the wheel without a license, according the Knoxville Police.
Police spokesman Darrell DeBusk says Yong Zhu, 39, was hauling produce from Nashville to Greeneville when he reportedly lost control of the truck.
Police are trying to contact the company Zhu was driving for in Nashville.
Knoxville Police cited Zhu for driving without a license, and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. The Tennessee Highway Patrol issued a log book violation citation.
DeBusk says it's up to federal authorities to decide if the company has any legal responsibility, because interstates are federally regulated roadways.
