SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Pigeon Forge High School Assistant Baseball Coach Jeremy Chesney, 20, was killed Sunday afternoon when the Jeep he was riding in ran off the road.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. near Kingfisher Ave. and Hummingbird Lane, according to a Seveirville spokesman Bob Stahlke.
Chesney and the driver, Wesley Teaster, 20, were thrown out of the vehicle.
Teaster, whose injuries are not considered life-threatening, is also an assistant baseball coach at Pigeon Forge High School, according to the school's Web site.
Chesney is from Knoxville, and Teaster is from Sevierville.
