Clouds will move in throughout the morning with showers and storms developing. Look for the cloud cover to inhibit the heating process, so temps in the nineties will be hard to come by this afternoon, but not out of the question. As the storms move across the region, some may have heavy rain and some gusty winds, so prepare for that experience today.
As far as the BoomsDay forecast is concerned, it does appear that the event may be a little wet at times. Hopefully we can squeeze in the show, but overall it does look like scattered showers and storms are possible this evening.
As far as the Vols Day forecast is concerned, it does look like spotty storms are on the docket for Sunday afternoon and evening. The chance for rain is around 60%, so if you are going to the game, make sure you bring an Orange poncho to keep you dry.
As far as the Labor Day forecast is concerned, look for some spotty showers to linger through the Monday time frame as well.
Unfortunately, it does appear that the weekend will be on the wet side, which will put a wrinkle into your outdoor plans. Please keep an eye to the sky over the weekend, and stay safe.
