High today was 67 degrees at McGhee Tyson, pushing us eight degrees above our normal high for this date of 59. Plenty of sunshine and a feel of Spring was in the air and it looks like we will be doing it all over again on Sunday, with highs reaching the mid sixties once again. There is a bit of moisture heading our way, so we may see a chance for rain overnight.
There is a little bit of rain moving through West Tennessee and West Kentucky as of midnight, which could translate into a few showers before the sun rises in East Tennessee/South East Kentucky. The air is fairly dry tonight so the wet weather will have a tough time holding together as it marches east into our region. The best chance for a spot shower or two will be in Kentucky tonight and early tomorrow morning. Don't be surprised if we do get a spot shower north of Interstate 40 toward daybreak Sunday, but it will be nothing to write home about.
Big story for tonight is Spring Forward, move your clocks ahead one hour as you go to bed tonight.
Sunrise Sunday: 7:55
