Chain reaction crash near Blount-Knox line involves school bus

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A crash involving a school bus and a white pick-up truck Thursday morning on Alcoa Highway in Blount County sent one person to the hospital.

We're told several students were on the bus at the time of the accident, but none of them were injured.

Traffic was backed up across the Blount County line.

There's no word on the condition of the truck driver, but we're told his injures are not life threatening.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
