Knoxville (WVLT) - Are you in the mood for some fresh produce and berries?
Today was the third week for the Farmers' Market at New Harvest Park near Knoxville Center Mall. You can find fruits, berries, baked goods, vegetables, and lots of people.
All three weeks, they've had a great turnout with record breaking sells.
"It's because the food costs and concern for the environment, knowing that this food's not being transported 1,700 miles like most food is. It's all those things," UT Extension agent David Vandergriff said.
The farmer's markets will continue at New Harvest Park and others around Knox County through November.
