Tennessee man sought in shooting deaths of 2 Georgia teens

RINGGOLD, Ga. (AP) -- Catoosa County Sheriff Phil Summers says a Tennessee man is being sought in the fatal shootings of two teenagers, one of them 13 years old.

Summers said Monday that the double homicide happened Saturday night in a residential area at Lakeview where the two teens were fleeing as more than 30 shots were fired at a house after a scuffle over a debt.

Another man was wounded.

The sheriff said 23-year-old Phu Thien Tran of East Ridge, Tenn., is being sought on two counts of murder.

Summers said deputies responding to a 911 call discovered the 13-year-old, who later died at a Chattanooga hospital. The sheriff is not releasing his name because of his age.

Seventeen-year old Toby Thaboua, of Rossville, Ga., was pronounced dead at the scene.
