KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville police are investigating a body found in a West Knoxville apartment.
Knoxville Police spokesman Darrell DeBusk says 25-year-old Kelly Loudermilk was found dead in her bedroom at the Pines Apartment on Bailey Cove Drive just before 8:00 Monday night.
DeBusk says Loudermilk's boyfriend went to her apartment, but there was no answer at the door and he let himself in. He found Loudermilk in bed with another man, and the two men started fighting. When Loudermilk didn't wake up, they realized she was dead and called 911.
DeBusk says both men were taken into custody, but were released without being charged. There were no signs of foul play.
A preliminary medical examiner review indicates that Loudermilk may have died from a medical condition or drug and/or alcohol abuse.
