Head on collision kills 73-year old Powell Woman

(WVLT) -- A Powell woman is dead this morning after she collided head on with another drive on Highway 25 west.

Investigators say 73-year old Betty Roskie made a U-turn and traveled into on coming traffic.

THP reports that Roskie had been drinking.

The driver and passenger of the other car, Kimberly Giles and Candace Giles, were transported to the hospital.

The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

All three were reportedly wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
