Man who walked away from East Tennessee work detail caught

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Chattanooga authorities have once again caught a man who walked away from the Silverdale Workhouse's laundry facility.

Lt. Max Templeton of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department says 33-year-old Michael Frazier, who escaped on Saturday, was apprehended the next day.

Authorities say it was the third time he has walked away from the facility -- two of those incidents within five months of each other.

Frazier has been charged with more than 40 crimes. The most recent were for theft and vandalism.

He was scheduled to be released in November.
