2 Loudon County men arrested for car break-ins

LOUDON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two men were arrested Monday after several car burglaries in Loudon County and surrounding counties since July 16.

Deputies say 19-year-old Michael Johnson and 26-year-old Douglas Burns admitted to committing the crime.

They're accused of taking guns and ammunition, electronics, purses, medical equipment, cash, checkbooks, credit cards, and law enforcement equipment.

Sheriff Tim Guider says in addition to this property being recovered, deputies found thousands of dollars in stolen items over the past few months, including ATV’s and a tractor.
