2 workers killed, 1 hurt when wall falls

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A wall has collapsed at a Hendersonville construction site and two construction workers were killed.

The Tennessean reported a third worker was injured. Keith Douglas of Sumner County Emergency Management Agency said the injured worker was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville after the accident at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Goodwill of Middle Tennessee spokesman Jaime Berry said the project is a new store, training center and drop-off site for the nonprofit agency. It was scheduled to open later this year.

The names of the victims were not immediately released.
