KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knox County Sheriff's Office is investigating a bank robbery at the BB&T bank on Kingston Pike in Farragut.

It happened just after 3:30 p.m.

The FBI says a man entered the bank, "demanded money, made verbal threats, and jumped over the counter."

He then got away in a white Toyota Solara, and he may have covered the license plate with paper, the FBI says.

Investigators are looking for a white man in his mid-20’s, about 5’6” to 5’8” tall, medium-to-thin build, wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark pants, and tan work boots.

The man is believed to be the same suspect who robbed the same BB&T bank on May 2, and who may have also robbed a nearby Community South Bank on May 13.

Anyone with information should call the FBI at (865) 544-0751 or the Knox County Sheriff's Office at (865) 215-2243.
