Tennessee teen killed while washing his truck

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police are investigating the death of a Nashville-area teen who was shot while washing his truck.

Leif Brittain, 18, of Nolensville was at a carwash in south Davidson County on Friday night when police say he was shot once in the neck.

Brittain attempted to make a 911 call following the incident but couldn't speak. Metro detective Brad Corcoran said someone may have walked up behind Brittain and confronted him. Police say robbery may be a motive in the crime.

Brittain was working construction this summer and was scheduled to graduate from Ravenwood High next year.
