Driver says vehicle hit by rock thrown from Downtown Knoxville overpass

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Just after 1:00 a.m. Monday, police got a call that a vehicle was damaged by a rock thrown from an overpass.

The incident occurred on James White Parkway near Hill Drive.

Moments after the first call, a witness called police reporting they saw three teenage boys throw the rock, then run down Hall of Fame Drive.

Officers responded to the scene, but didn't find any suspects.
