UPDATE: Body of boating accident victim recovered and identified

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP/WTVF) -- The body of a missing boating accident victim was recovered and identified early Monday morning.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said the body of 39-year-old Harvie C. Butler, of La Vergne, was recovered after he was thrown from his boat during an accident on Sunday.

Investigators said the body was discovered around 11:30 p.m. around the site of the accident near Four Corners Marina.

Officers said they used a remote camera to locate debris from the accident.

According to reports, two boats collided Sunday outside the wake near the marina. Four other people were taken to the hospital as a result of the accident.

Investigators said preliminary reports indicate that alcohol was not involved. No charges have been filed in the investigation.

Authorities are searching for at least one person following a boating accident on Percy Priest Lake that left four people injured.

Two boats collided around noon on Sunday.

Officials say a person thrown from one of the boats wasn't wearing a life jacket and remains missing.

They say one of the individuals injured in the accident was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a head injury. The other three received non-life threatening injuries.

None of the victims have been identified, and officials have not provided additional information about how the accident occurred.
