Blount County Sheriff's Office investigating thumbtack pokes in high school

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) Three Heritage High School freshman are accused of poking more than 20 kids in the butts with a thumbtack.

Spokesperson for the Blount County Sheriff's Office, Marion O'Briant said 23 students were poked throughout the day.

O'Briant confirmed that a police report against the students has been filed. It is unclear at this time if charges will be pressed, or if the school will take a disciplinary action against the students.
