KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police say when they arrived, they found 52-year-old Jack Hutchins, Jr. had been shot more than once. According to police, Hutchins was shot as he was getting out of his pickup truck. The report says he had just come home after picking up dinner for his family.
Hutchins was taken to UT Medical Center, but was pronounced dead.
Investigators are following leads, but still need help from the community.

"We are shocked and in disbelief. We do have some acts of violence in the neighborhood but this one is different," said neighbor, Travetta Johnson.
"It's a tragic moment it's a tragic thing it really is - but it's not gonna get me down," said the victim's son, Eric Hutchins.
