KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville police are searching for a robber after a hold up at Walgreens at 2400 N. Broadway.
Employees say just after 11 p.m. Sunday, a man entered the store and demanded cash from the register. They say he kept one hand in his jacket pocket and indicated he had a gun.
When unsuspecting customers approached the register, the man calmly stepped aside and let them step in front of him to check out. After those customers left, the man demanded money again.
When the employee placed cash on the counter, the man grabbed it and ran off.
The suspect is described as a very thin white male in his 20's, about 6 feet tall. He has dark hair and was unshaven. Police say he was wearing a grey knit winter novelty cap that had ears sewn on it. It also had a small face on the front that may have been a mouse.
