NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) - A man was arrested after police found him passed out in the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant in Nashville.
Police said 37-year-old Regis Carney stopped by a Wendy's drive-thru when employees saw him passed out behind the wheel with the vehicle running and his foot on the brake.
They called police, and the fire department had to break out his window to get him out because he was unresponsive.
Once they got Carney out, police said it took about five minutes to wake him up. Police said he could barely walk and they smelled alcohol on hm.
Paramedics took him to the hospital to be checked out before he was booked on DUI charges. His bond was set at $15,000.
Police said Carney had three prior DUI convictions dating back to 2003.
