Crimetracker: Four arrested for string of car burglaries

HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Four people are facing charges, accused of several car burglaries in Hamblen County.

Investigators say a a stolen laptop led them to Daniel Chase Ingram. They say someone bought the computer, then discovered it was registered to another Hamblen County resident.

After questioning Ingram, detectives say he led them to several locations where they recovered a number of stolen items including several iPhones, radar detectors, GPS systems, flashlights, tools and backpacks full of books.

They say the auto burglaries started in September, then stopped for a while, and began again in late November. They say Ingram was in jail from September 21 to November 21 on previous auto burglary charges.

Ingram is charged with 13 counts of auto burglary, one count of possession of stolen property, one count of criminal trespassing and one count of burglary.

Deputies also arrested Dawn Louise House, Lucas Tyler Rolen and Elizabeth Vanatter. They are charged with three counts of auto burglary.
