CAMPBELL CO., Tenn. (WVLT)-- A dog captured in a viral video yesterday looks entirely different today after a bath and a haircut.

Friends of Campbell County, Tennessee Animals says on their Facebook page that the dog was also spayed and vaccinated.

The director of the Campbell County Animal Shelter says the dog was returned to her owner after it was determined she was not abused.

He says the dog had food, water and shelter and was not injured; her hair was matted and she was in need of a haircut the owner could not afford.

The Campbell County Animal Shelter says they did not log the dog into the system and did not have input regarding the care of the dog.
