LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Georgia woman is behind bars in Loudon County after police found meth and loaded handguns in her car.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. on February 7.
A Loudon County Sheriff's Deputy pulled over 30-year-old Jennifer Leigh Kendrick after noticing the car she was driving swerving across the lines on Interstate 75.
Deputies say Kendrick told them she was having a medical emergency. An ambulance was sent to the location and she was checked out and cleared.
Deputies say Kendrick failed a sobriety test and told them she had taken methamphetamine. She also admitted after a K-9 search that meth was in the vehicle.
They say one pound of meth was found in the vehicle along with two loaded handguns, which Kendrick admitted they were stolen. A set of digital scales were also found in the trunk.
Kendrick is being held on a $77,000 bond.
