Crimetracker: CVS Pharmacy in Knoxville robbed at gunpoint

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knoxville Police Department is looking for an armed robbery suspect.

Officers say the suspect walked into CVS Pharmacy on North Broadway around 9:00 p.m. and waited until no customers were inside. he suspect then walked up to the front counter and presented a handgun and told the clerk "give me all the money."

A release from KPD says the suspect then took cash out of the register and ran away.

Witnesses say they saw the suspect run to the Burger King parking lot where he jumped into an awaiting vehicle.

Investigators and crime lab responded to the scene and are following up on leads at the time of this email.
