KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville police are looking for two men accused of robbing a northeast Knoxville gas station.
The suspects are described as a black males in their mid 20’s both wearing all black clothing. They were both around 5’10” to 6’ and weighed around 160 pounds.
Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a gas station in northeast Knoxville Wednesday morning.
Police say two men showed handguns and demanded cash at a Pilot gas station at 2819 Tazwell Pike.
The suspects then escaped with an unknown amount of money. The Knox County Sheriff's Office and Knoxville Police traced their path through woods behind the store before losing the trail.
Fingerprints and security video will also be reviewed.
The store will be closed Wednesday morning.
