MONROE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A man has been charged after telling authorities a woman was missing earlier this week.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has charged Jimmy L. Harrison with filing a false report.
Officers say he filed a missing persons report on Keisha Wallace. They say they believe Harrison knew Wallace was not missing.
He is being held at the Monroe County Jail without set bond at this time.
The search is over for a Monroe County woman has ended safely.
Deputies were worried Keisha Wallace was in danger. She was found in Etowah Thursday; deputies say it was all thanks to tips.
At this time her estranged husband Gary Wallace has not been located. The investigation is ongoing.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office needs your helping in finding a 31-year-old woman.
Officers say Keisha Ann Wallace was last seen Wednesday morning at a Monroe County address, where they think a man took her.
The incident is believed to possibly be a domestic incident involving Gary William Wallace, her estranged husband.
