Former Vol Janzen Jackson charged with murder

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Former defensive back Janzen Jackson has been charged with murder according to the Los Angeles Register.

Jackson is accused of strangling his mother's boyfriend back in September.

Prosecutors say Janzen was seen on surveillance video dragging a large bundle out of an apartment that could be a body.

The former five-star recruit spent two seasons at UT before being kicked off the team.

He wound up at McNeese State and had a brief stint with the New York Giants and in the Canadian Football League.
