KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- An Aug. 21 arraignment has been set for Raynella Dossett Leath, who is now accused of murder in the killing of two husbands.
Her attorney told The Knoxville News Sentinel Dossett Leath will plead not guilty in the 1992 death of her first husband, former prosecutor Ed Dossett.
His death had initially been blamed on trampling by cattle.
Dossett Leath surrendered a week ago after a Knox County grand jury indicted her in Dossett's death.
Lawyers said Dossett Leath's September trial in the 2003 shooting death of her second husband, David Leath, will likely be delayed in light of the recent indictment.
