3 women accused of promoting prostitution in Seymour spa

SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sevier County Sheriff's Office says three women have been arrested for allegedly promoting prostitution and impersonation of a licensed professional.

Sheriff Ron Seals says 47-year-old Yuan Hong Hua, 40-year-old Cui Ying, and 54-year-old Bai Jin Shum were caught Monday in an undercover operation at the Royal Spa on Chapman Highway.

Sheriff Beals says officers raided the business and found the women were charging patrons for sexual acts. They also didn't have the valid massage therapist license in Tennessee.

A male patron, 57-year-old Ricky Willcox, of Clarksville, who was in the spa when officers arrived, was charged with patronizing prostitution.

All four people have been arraigned and are awaiting a bond hearing. A preliminary hearing date has been set for a later date.
