Jellico Robbery, "Jail not so bad"

A Whitley County man accused in a store robbery..admits his role..and says being in jail isn't such a bad thing!

Josh Surgener told our sister station, WYMT, that he was the getaway driver in the hold up of "Fast Trax" near Jellico in Whitley County.

Police say he along with Douglas Boyd Malone and Todd Evan Bryant were part of the Sunday night robbery.

Police say the robbery fired two shots when the clerk didn't immediately comply with his demands.

The three were arrested in Tennessee, and Surgener says being in jail provides much needed shelter and food.
