WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WVLT) -- The Whitley County Sheriff's Office says it needs the public's help looking for a Jellico man accused of running over a pedestrian.
It happened around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday along Highway 25, about two miles north of Jellico.
Investigators say 49-year-old Linda Partin told them she was walking north when a Chevrolet Blazer swerved to hit her.
She identified the driver as 29-year-old Joshua L. Ball.
Deputies say Partin told them she recently evicted Ball from a home that he had rented from her.
Tire tread impressions were visible on Partin's leg. She was treated and released from Jellico Hospital.
Ball is wanted for first-degree assault. More charges are possible.
No picture of Ball is available.
Anyone with information about Ball's whereabouts should call (606) 549-6017.
