His daughter-in-law told deputies that Donald Edward McGhee, 56, was drunk and shot Jack Stockstill with an automatic pistol or rifle, according to the incident report.
"McGhee struggled and fought with Deputy Mark Hobbs during (the arrest)," but he was taken into custody just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on aggravated assault charges, according to the report.
In the report, Deputy Hubbard says McGhee told him that Jack Stockstill shot at McGhee first, and McGhee fired back.
