Police say home invasion ended in burglar's death

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Lexington police have arrested a man after what they say is a home invasion that turned deadly for one of the alleged burglars.

Reginald Laron Jones was arrested on burglary and felony gun possession charges. Police said an accomplice of Jones was shot and killed by the occupant of the home. Lexington's coroner's office listed the deceased as Brian Simpson.

Police said there was a female suspect, but there was no immediate word on whether she had been arrested. No charges were immediately reported against any occupant of the home.
