OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (AP) -- Two veteran Y-12 National Security Complex employees in Oak Ridge, Tenn., have been honored by the National Nuclear Security Administration.

Harry Peters and Kathy Bracic were named employees of the quarter by the administration's defense programs.

Peters and his team recently fulfilled within 30 days an alternative uranium processing project plan in light of budget considerations. Gracic led the successful completion of engineering activities associated with a laser gas sampling project.

Y-12 maintains the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile and has other duties.
