MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Blount County Sheriff's Office says 48-year-old Michael Dawn McCulloch, of Maryville, died early Sunday morning at University of Tennessee Medical Center from injuries sustained in the crash.
Deputies have investigated nine deadly crashes in Blount County since early May.
One person is in critical condition and two others were injured in a head-on crash in Blount County Saturday.
Blount County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened at William Blount Drive and Dotson Memorial Road near Bell Maryville Apartments shortly before 10:00 a.m.
Deputies say 48-year-old Michael Dawn McCulloch, of Maryville, was flown by Lifestar after her car crossed the center line and hit a pick-up truck.
McCulloch is in critical condition at U.T. Medical Center.
The driver of the pick-up was 66-year-old John McCall, of Maryville, who was taken to U.T. by ambulance.
McCall and McCulloch both had to be cut from their vehicles.
Also injured was Gary John McCulloch who was taken to U.T. by ambulance.
Deputies say everyone was wearing their seat belts.
William Blount Drive was shut down as crews worked to clear the accident. The road has since re-opened.
