Car overturns in New Market, 3 taken to hospital

NEW MARKET, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Three people are in the hospital after their car went off the road flipped on Old Dandridge Pike near Strawberry Plains Saturday afternoon.

THP says 46-year-old Paula McCroskey, of Mascot, was trapped in the vehicle and had to be flown to U.T. Medical Center when she was rescued.

A man and a child were taken by ambulance to the hospital.

As of Sunday afternoon, McCroskey is in serious condition, while Christopher McCroskey is in fair condition.
