Knoxville (WVLT) - Police are looking for somebody, anybody, to come forward to help them catch who fatally shot a man at an East Knoxville convenience store Thursday afternoon.

Police have been hoping that security camera pictures will lead them to the killer, or at least, to who was around to see it.

What seems clear, police say is that 33-year-old Terry Roundtree, had pulled into the Bi-Lo convenience store on Martin-Luther-King Avenue, during one of the busiest times of the day, 4:30 in the afternoon and shots started flying.

Some reports indicate round tree got hit three times in the face.

He was dead when the ambulance got him to UT Medical Center.

We have no statement really to indicate what happened; nobody in the crowd seems to have seen it. We're hoping some folks will come forward and talk to us on the phone, give us more detail," says Sergeant Shawna Williams, from the Knoxville Police Department.

"Three cameras under surveillance, so how are you not going to know?" says Crusha Ayers, neighbor.

We have learned more about the victim, Terry Roundtree.

Roundtree has a couple convictions for dealing drugs, including cocaine, two guilty pleas to assault.

He once was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault, both charges dismissed for failure to prosecute.
