Knoxville (WVLT) - Knoxville Police continue to search for the driver who hit a college student near campus over the weekend and maintain they haven't located the vehicle involved just yet.
20-year-old Morgan McCarty was crossing the street at 17th and Highland early Saturday morning with a group when she was hit.
She later died at UT Medical Center.
Police are still looking for a young, white man with short hair, who was driving a white Chevy Blazer with a damaged headlight.
There may be more damage on the front of the vehicle.

A memorial service to honor McCarty is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 in UT's Circle Park. We'll have a preview of that and the latest information coming your way at 5:30.
Funeral arrangements have been made of McCarty. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 28, 2006 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at George A. Smith & Sons North Chapel, 2812 North Highland Avenue, Jackson, Tennessee.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 200 South Church Street, Jackson, Tennessee.
