(WVLT) - A man is now facing charges for drunk driving after he ran his van off a road and into an apartment. The Knoxville Police Department says the man ran off Testerman Drive and down a small embankment in Western Heights just before 1:00am this morning. His van ran into an apartment. The driver was taken to the hospital to get a few stitches and then was taken on to jail. Investigators aren't releasing his name. No one in the apartment was hurt and the building has minimal damage.
