(WVLT) - A Kentucky Amber Alert is still active for a ten month old boy who disappeared from a home where a state social worker was found dead. Henderson police say the social worker, 67 year-old Boni Frederick, took the boy, who is in state custody, for a visit with his mother Monday. Police went to the mother's home when Frederick didn't return to work and found her dead.
"We found the body of a female lying in the living room area of the house. Obvious injuries to the head, there may be other injuries," said Ed Brady with the Henderson Police Department.
Police issued an Amber Alert for ten month-old Saige Terrell. He may be with his mother, 33 year-old Renee Terrell and her boyfriend, 23 year-old Christopher Wayne Luttrell. Police say Terrell has family in Evansville and Fort Wayne, Indiana. The social worker's car, a 2000 White Daewoo Nubia station wagon, is missing and police believe Terrell, Luttrell, and the boy may be traveling in it. Renee Terrell is white, has brown hair, brown eyes, 5'5'', 240 pounds, and she wears glasses. Christopher Luttrell is white, has blue eyes, 6'2'', 150 pounds and has tattoos on his arms. Saige Terrell is white, has brown eyes, brown hair. Police say he is developmentally disabled and his scratch on the right side of his face and a rug burn on the back of his neck.
