Godfrey, IL (WVLT) - No word yet on when a Kentucky woman and her boyfriend, wanted in connection with a fatal beating of a social worker and accused of kidnapping her nine-month-old son will be extradited back to Kentucky.
After a four day, multi-state search, the little Saige has been found safe, and the mother and boyfriend are behind bars.
Police arrested 33 year-old Renee Terrell and 23 year-old Christopher Luttrell last night near Godfrey, Illinois.
Police believe Terrell was upset when she found out the infant, who was taken away from her for neglect, was going to be put up for adoption.
A social worker brought Saige to visit Terrell earlier this week, and police believe Terrell and Luttrell beat her to death and took the baby.
Terrell is now facing charges for kidnapping and running from police.
In addition, Luttrell is facing parole violation charges.
