As candidates claim to take a touger stand against illegal immigration, a group in met in East Tennessee to discuss the issue of Illegal Immigration.
The group T-FIRE is making its case against illegal immigration, in Morristown, which has had several confrontations over the issue.
Today they met at the VFW in Morristown for an educational forum.
T-Fire claims illegal immigrants take more than jobs, they take a huge toll on a community.
Tthe population of illegals in this community has swollen to the point its oppressive. We have problems with medical care, education, and the criminal justice system," said Wayne Dollar a spokesperson for T-FIRE.
The group says they are not opposed to immigration, as long as folks follow all the legal channels and timetables toward becoming American citizens.
