A former Knox County employee, facing DU charges is back in jail.
Jay Witt's bond was revoked over the weekend.
According to court records Witt violated conditions of his bond and it was revoked on Sunday.
Witt resigned from his county job after crashing his county owned vehicle on Thanksgiving morning last year.
Police say alcohol and speed were likely factors in the crash.
A new bond for Witt has been denied. His trial is set for Friday.
